Olga Nienhuys
Born in The Netherlands and raised in Ottawa, I have been attracted to art for as long as I can remember. Even while raising two children in the Rice Lake area of Ontario, I always found time to develop my art techniques in the media of oil or acrylics and to enhance my passion through the excellent instruction of artists like Lucy Manley and Jeanette Campbell.
My love of art is apparent by my strong use of colour, dimension and a broad selection of interesting subjects. I especially get a kick out of painting landscape and streetscape scenes. I am proud to say that I have clients across Canada and in the United States and Europe.
It is a distinctive honour to have a selection of my work on display at beautiful Studio 87 in Perth.
I find great pleasure in creating my paintings from my studio on Loughborough Lake on the outskirts of Kingston
