Diane is a mixed media artist with a background in design and a deep-rooted passion for creative expression. After graduating with a degree in interior design, Diane built a successful 25-year career as the owner of an interior design business. This experience honed her eye for colour, composition, and spatial harmony, which later became integral to her artistic practice.

Driven by a lifelong desire to explore the world of fine arts, Diane transitioned into painting, where she discovered her true calling. Her work, primarily in acrylics and encaustic mediums, is a vibrant exploration of colour and texture, deeply influenced by the beauty of nature; the strong connections she shares with family and friends, and her extensive travels around the world. Each piece is a vibrant exploration of colour and form, reflecting the diverse landscapes, cultures, and experiences she has encountered.

Diane now resides in Ottawa, where she has established a dedicated home studio. From this creative space, she continues to develop her craft, infusing her work with the rich experiences of her journey from interior design to fine art.
