Lynne Morin

Born in Chelsea Quebec in 1949, and raised in Chelsea, Lynne is a Canadian landscape painter.

She graduated from Carleton University in Economics and Business, but developed her education of painting and the landscape surrounding her in the Gatineau Hills.

​

While she grew successfully in her business career, she also grew with her paintings.  She attended Ottawa University and the Ottawa School of Art taking course in Fine Arts.  Over 15 years now as a full time painter, she is fully enveloped in the art world.

​

“I paint the landscape because of its endless shapes and lines.  I am capturing my interpretation of the compositions that appeal to me.  I simplify and somewhat abstract the views and use the colours that I love.”

Lynne works primarily in oils; she is known for her bright colours and capturing feelings of the Gatineau park.
